How it began
In 2005 we have been to Italy to explore the wonderful and quiet roads oft he Appenin and also a daily „apperitivo“ at our favourite restaurant „Due Spade“ in Bettola.
Among others, we intensively discussed the development of cycling frame manufacturing. Unfortunately, since a couple of years, many brands reduced their frame sizes and followed the textile industry, offering sizes from S-XXL.
To find the perfect size wasn’t as easy as in the past.
The time when Italian frame builders had manufactured 15 different sizes for the same bike model or custom-sized bicycle frames seemed to be over.
The discussion about why that happened, ended in: „LET’S TRY IT DIFFERENTLY”

Still in Italy, we found our first partner, the frame builder Francesco. Back home in Berlin, our friends, the artists Timm Kölln and Andreas Töpfer and later the passionate cyclists Andreas Hubert, were thrilled by the idea and supported the adventure.
The name? We wanted something expressing our passion for classical music and beautiful bikes. Yes, there were some wild ideas on the table. Luckily, Christoph came along with the „Paganini of the Oboe Players“ – Antonio Pasculli and like in Bettola, no further questions. We had found our name.

Custom-sized Pasculli bike frames are developed in Berlin, handmade and hand-painted Italy.
Besides the handmade bicycle frames from Italy, we work with Asian frame manufacturers since 2017. These monocoque frames are for those of you who have average measurements.
The complete Pasculli bikes are assembled by professional bike mechanics in Berlin.
