Exclusion of Liability

1. Content of the Online Offer

The author provides no warranty that the information provided is up to date, correct, complete or of a particular quality. Liability claims against the author which relate to damage of a material or ideal nature which arises through the use or lack of use of the information provided and/or through the use of faulty and incomplete information are excluded in principle, unless it can be proven that the author was at fault due to wilful intent or gross negligence.

All offers are non-binding and without obligation. The author expressly reserves the right to alter, supplement or cancel parts of the page or the entire offer without separate notification in advance, or to cease publication as a whole or in part.

2. Online Dispute Resolution:
The EU Commission has created a platform for extrajudicial dispute resolution. This gives consumers the opportunity to resolve disputes related to online orders without the requirement for a judicial process involving courts and judges. Bikeline GmbH is obliged to participate in the Online Dispute Resolution. This dispute resolution platform is available here: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/main/?event=main.home2.show.  Dispute resolution bodies can be found here: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/main/?event=main.adr.show2.

3. References and Links

In case of direct or indirect references to other websites (“hyperlinks”) outside the author’s sphere of influence, a liability obligation would only arise in case that author had knowledge of the contents and it would be technically possible and reasonable for him to prevent use in the case of illegal content. The author hereby expressly declares that at the time of the setting of the link, no illegal contents were discernible on the pages to be linked. The author has no influence whatsoever on the current and future design, the content or the authorship of the linked/connected pages. For this reason, he hereby expressly distances himself from all contents of all linked/connected pages.

This applies to all links and references set within the own Internet offer and for third party entries in visitors’ books, discussion forums, schedules of links, mailing lists and in all other forms of data banks which enable external writing access to their content. The provider of the page to which reference is made is exclusively liable for illegal, faulty or incomplete content and in particular for damage which arises from the use or failure to use such information offered, not the person who merely refers to the respective publication through links.

4. Copyright and Labelling Law

In all publications, the author endeavours to respect the copyrights to the pictures, graphics, sound documents, video sequences and texts used, to use his own pictures, graphics, sound documents, video sequences and texts or to utilise pictures, graphics, sound documents, video sequences and texts which are licence-free. All trademarks and brands specified within the Internet offer and possibly protected by third parties are unrestrictedly subject to the provisions of the respective applicable labelling law and the rights of possession of the respective registered owner. The mere naming in itself does not lead to the conclusion that trademarks are not protected by the rights of third parties. The copyright for published items created by the author himself remains solely with the author of the pages. The duplication or use of such graphics, sound documents, video sequences and texts in other electronic or printed publications without the author’s express consent is not permitted.

5. Legal Validity of this Exclusion of Liability

This exclusion of liability is to be considered as part of the Internet offer from which reference is made to this page. If parts or individual wording of this text do not conform, no longer conform or do not fully conform to the current applicable legal situation, the remaining parts of this document continue to be unaffected as regards content and validity.
